Beef & vegetables Chili
Ingredients :  
450 g Lean ground beef
2 Chopped onions
1 Clove of garlic thin slice
250 ml (1 cup) Chopped carrots
250 ml (1 cup) Chopped celery
250 ml (1 cup) Chopped green pepper
796 ml (28 oz) Crushed whole tomatoes
398 ml (1 can) Old Fashioned beans with pork
15 ml (1tbsp) Crushed Chile (optional)
15 ml (1tbsp) Lemon juice
5 ml (1tsp) Cumin
45 ml (3 tbsp) Chopped fresh parsley
250 m l (1 cup) Chicken broth or water

Method:

Heat butter in non-stick skillet cook beef over medium-high heat during 5 minutes. Stir up well with the fork. Withdraw the surplus of fat of the skillet. Add onions, garlic, carrots, celery and green pepper and sauté for 4 to 5 minutes. Stir in tomatoes, the Old Fashioned beans with pork can, crushed Chile, lemon juice, cumin and parsley. Cover and leave for 8 to 10 minutes.

Add chicken broth, slightly reduced before serving.

You can replace beef by turkey.
